After crossing Europe back and forth for a number of years, flute and piano player return to present their music, always melodious, poetic and lyrical. The complicity between the two artists allows them to travel into even freer, more fleeting improvisations, and interpretations, often inspired by nature.

Oh, the charm of classical and contemporary music able to navigate jazz and improvisation! Irresistible, those moments when the mind takes off and wanders on the wings of an indomitable flute that spins on a series of free chords. Can one keep a bird captive when it’s able to enchant a whole park? This duo’s music knows how to give digressions and fully lyrical and poetical improvisations top billing. References to Fauvism and Impressionism, and early 20th Century poets, aren’t a surprise in this often bucolic, at times somber, always very evocative, jazz. The duo evolves one little task at a time, with gestures growing more ample and spontaneous, and creating beautiful, dreamy dialogues. Everything sublimated by a jazz deceitfully chamber-like. Refinery and elegance at your doorstep. Oh, and ravishing too. Enjoy.
