Laurent Dehors is a great teacher as well as an exceptional musician and composer (Tous Dehors, Méga Octet-Andy Emler, Trio Grande…).
Want something new? Try your hand at a clarinette or a saxophone. Find other ways of playing and new means of expression with these instruments.
These are just some of the ways of taking students off ‘the beaten path’, to spark their imagination and musical taste, whatever it may be, and to expand their personal and collective performance. Using a variety of interpretations and original compositions, he provides keys to empower each student in developing his or her own musical material: types of play, energy, silence, tone, horizontality, place in a group, rhythm and phrasing. From total improvisation to written composition, the goal is to make students feal good in a group and to give it everything they’ve got.
Laurent Dehors shares his experience generously, making it accessible to every level as his energy and enthusiasm inspire a hightly communicative sense of musical fun.
