“Double Portrait” is the fourth album by Giuseppe Millaci & Vogue Trio. It finds our three accomplices drawing on the experience of the many Belgian and international stages they have covered together.
Considered a talented bassist by the famous American magazine Downbeat, Giuseppe Millaci is one of the most active double bassists on the Belgian scene: in fact, he has distinguished himself as leader on no fewer than five albums since 2017.
Highly inspired by the solo double bass albums of Dave Holland, Larry Grenadier and John Patitucci, Giuseppe offers melodies that give pride of place to his instrument, allowing it to stand out from the rhythm section.
