Exceptional violinist Tcha Limberger never does things like the others, but he does them with soul and heart. Faithful to Gypsy tradition, he’s got it into him to shake and even invert the balance so dear to the Hot Club de France. And so, it’s violins that take the lead of a swing as hot as frenzied.

A couple of strokes, and you’re back in the the ’30s. And yet, make no mistake, it’s 2024! For the past ten years, unfailing and faithful, Tcha Limberger (violin and voice), Renaud Crols (violin), Alex Tripodi (alto violin), Renaud Dardenne (guitar) and Sam Gerstmans (double bass) have kept swing well and alive. They’ve played and jammed into the wee hours of the night. With them, the violins lead the dance. While treasuring the Gypsy spirit, they reinvent rhythms and harmonies to get your feet moving or tears rolling. Bechet, Armstrong, Teagarden or Django mingle with others, less well known but just as powerful, hailing from Venezuela and elsewhere, alongside original compositions that bring back to life music from Central Europe. Joyous, sad or somewhere in between, your emotions will be tested.
